Everyone is aware that one of the best ways to invest these days is with property. Many people think of a house when talking about investing in property but buying a plot is an extremely efficient and easy way to invest. By owning a piece of prime land you do not need to maintain anything and all you need to do is hold on to it and pay the anual rates. People want to some time in their lives build their dream property and will mostly need to do this on a vacant plot of land. The cost of buying a house and knocking it down can be very expensive and it is becoming increasingly rare to be able to buy a prime vacant piece of land.

Coastal plots are a very saught after investment. Such opportunities are going fast with investors snapping up the last remaining prime plots. In the last 4 years prices have quadrupled and are expected to go up again another 2 x 3 times in the next couple if years with the world cup coming to South Africa. It is expected that Tourism and investment will boom in South Africa running up to the World Cup and for many years after the World Cup.

2010 World Cup

We have had an amazing World cup. Even though there will only be 1 winner everyone who has visited has had a rewarding experience off the field. There is so much to do and see in South Africa that when speaking to England fans after the dismal 0-0 draw with Algeria they said that the game was not everything. People are having so much fun in South Africa that for once the world cup was just another feature of the visit for most football fans. For us the world cup has been a resounding success already because finally the world can see what a beautiful country we have and it is also safe and extremely friendly. I am sure that when the world cup finishes people will have a new perception about South Africa and the stereotype of violence and crime is now put to rest.

The Whales are just coming into the bay now at the end of June and those who are still around will benefit on seeing these majestic giants!
